TT Electronics extends UK partnership with Rolls-Royce
Companies agree lifetime contract for the supply of power electronics for future aircraft
Distributor TT Electronics has announced a significant development in its long-standing partnership with Rolls-Royce.
Under the £multi-million agreement, TT Electronics’ Bedlington and Barnstaple facilities in the UK will supply, high-reliability power electronics solutions, including multi-chip power modules and precision magnetics, for all large civil aircraft engines over their operational lifetime.
Rob Relph, EVP for the Power Division at TT Electronics, commented: "This agreement is a reflection of the trust we’ve built together in the UK over four decades and our shared ambition to advance technology and improve engine performance.”
