New summit tackles Europe’s grid delivery challenge

News
Berlin-based conference to explore practical issues shaping the grid, from infrastructure and project delivery to supply chain resilience
Registration is now open for the first Grid Delivery Summit, a new event created to bring the grid delivery ecosystem together to tackle delivery at a critical moment for Europe’s energy infrastructure. Co-located with CWIEME Berlin, the event takes place at Messe Berlin on April 27 and 28, 2027.

Across two days, attendees will be able to explore the practical issues shaping the grid, from infrastructure investment and project delivery to transformer availability, manufacturing capacity, supply chain resilience, digitalisation, AI, Industry 4.0, critical materials, workforce capability and utility-OEM-supplier collaboration.

“Grid expansion cannot be delivered by one part of the value chain alone,” said Melissa Magestro, portfolio director at CWIEME Berlin. “The Grid Delivery Summit is designed to bring the right people into the same room: the utilities and operators planning the future grid, the manufacturers and suppliers building the equipment, and the technology providers helping the industry deliver smarter, cleaner and more resilient infrastructure.

“By hosting the summit alongside CWIEME Berlin, we are creating a direct connection between grid strategy and the electrical manufacturing supply chain needed to make it happen. Visitors will not only hear about the challenges facing grid delivery; they will meet the people, technologies and partners helping to solve them.”
