The project will expand Malaysia’s role in next-generation photonics and energy-optimised semiconductor manufacturing. It will combine Malaysia’s emerging silicon-photonics ecosystem with CHIPX’s advanced materials, Gallium Nitride (GaN) and Silicon Carbide (SiC) chip manufacturing, and high-performance IC technologies.
